Addison Museum

In April 20254 my wife and I had occasion to visit the Addison Gallery of Fine Art at the Phillips Academy in Andover Massachusetts. The Philips Academy was attended by a long list of notable Americans, including US Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W Bush, Oliver Wendell Holmes and members of the Kennedy family. Academy Alumni have bequeathed an impressive collection of of fine art. Paintings by Winslow Homer and Edward Hopper adorn the walls.

In our visit I was particularly taken by an exhibit of the works of artist June Leaf. June Leaf (1929-2024) was well known for her abstract and allegorical paintings and drawings.
