Bridge at Lewes Delaware

My wife and I traveled to Lewes Delaware, Ithaca and western New York/Angelica. I enjoy creating a watercolor and ink journal of what we see and do. This year's journal was done with a Pilot Falcon fountain pen with Japanese Carbon Ink. The ink is water proof. I created the artwork on a 9" X 9" Bee Paper acid free mixed media sketch book. I generally like the drawing results I get with drawing from direct observation. Never the less, I use my cell phone to take snap shots of whatever interests me. The snaps are great reference for the watercolor painting that I do afterwards.
